PLATFORM TERMS

Terms of use

What to expect when using Good Teeth, and where the responsibilities of our platform and independent dental clinics begin.

Policy version: November 2, 2026 · Offer-specific terms are preserved with each qualifying booking.

1. Our role

Good Teeth connects patients with independent dental clinics and supports appointment requests. Good Teeth does not provide dentistry, diagnose conditions, recommend treatment, or act as an insurer. A clinic’s participation does not constitute a guarantee of clinical results.

2. Accounts and accurate information

Use an account you control and provide accurate contact and booking information. Do not impersonate another person, create duplicate accounts to claim benefits, or submit another person’s documents without authority. Clinic representatives must have authority to act for their practice.

Keep credentials and authenticator codes private. Contact support if you suspect unauthorized access. Access may be restricted to investigate misuse; this does not extinguish an otherwise valid claim or statutory right.

3. Appointment requests and cancellations

A selected time is a request until the clinic confirms it. Check your account and clinic communications before attending. Cancel promptly if you cannot attend. Clinics determine their own cancellation policies and must communicate any applicable charges directly; Good Teeth does not impose a patient booking fee.

A cancelled, declined or missed appointment is not a completed visit and cannot by itself earn a visit-based reward. See the separate cancellation policy.

4. Treatment, consent and costs

Your dental professional determines suitable care and obtains informed consent. Ask the clinic about alternatives, costs, and insurance before treatment. Treatment charges are paid to the clinic. A gift card is separate from treatment costs and is not insurance reimbursement or a discount on your invoice.

Never undertake unnecessary treatment to obtain a reward. No reward requires a positive review, a particular rating, or surrendering the right to raise a concern.

5. Insurance and public programs

An insurance option in the directory identifies a preference, not confirmed benefits, direct billing, full coverage, or clinic participation. CDCP is listed separately from private Sun Life insurance. Your clinic must verify participation, eligibility, co-payments, exclusions and remaining benefits. See our insurance information page.

6. Promotions and referrals

Only a specific active offer presented and accepted at booking can establish reward eligibility. A page describing gift cards, a saved preference, an enquiry, a referral link, or an account alone does not reserve a card or create entitlement. Offer-specific terms form part of the booking record.

The total Good Teeth reward cap is CAD $200 per patient across clinics and qualifying reward types. No referral bonus is promised unless an active referral offer explicitly states one. See the separate reward and referral terms.

7. Reviews and public content

Reviews must reflect a genuine experience. Do not publish private medical information, insurance identifiers, allegations about identifiable third parties, threats, advertising, or copied reviews. Review eligibility and moderation rules are explained separately. Criticism is not a reason by itself to reject a review.

8. Service changes and disputes

We may improve the service or pause new bookings or promotions. Changes to future offers do not rewrite the accepted terms of an earlier qualifying booking. Contact support with the relevant booking or claim reference; do not email full medical records or gift card redemption codes.

These terms do not exclude rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded. Disputed eligibility or delivery decisions may be raised through our complaints process.

9. Contact

Contact the Good Teeth team at info@goodteeth.ca for booking, account, partnership, privacy or claim questions. For a medical emergency, call 911; this platform is not an emergency service.
