Our directory includes private carriers and benefits administrators. A provider’s name does not guarantee direct billing, available benefits, a particular reimbursement percentage or participation by every clinic. Confirm the clinic and your own policy details before care.
2. Canadian Dental Care Plan
CDCP is separate from private Sun Life insurance. A clinic must confirm its participation, the patient’s eligibility, covered services and any amounts the patient must pay. Listing CDCP does not promise free treatment or automatic reward eligibility.
3. Other government programs
NIHB, IFHP, ODSP, Ontario Works, Healthy Smiles Ontario and the Ontario Seniors Dental Care Program have their own eligibility, provider and benefit rules. They are separate categories, not interchangeable insurance policies.
4. Self-pay and estimates
You may choose self-pay or “not sure yet” when exploring care. Obtain an estimate from the clinic. Good Teeth does not adjudicate claims or verify a benefit balance. Avoid uploading insurance cards or full member identifiers.
5. Coverage and gift cards
A plan being listed does not make a patient eligible for a gift card. Only the coverage categories expressly included in the offer accepted at booking qualify.
